NTIF 2011 Host Hotel

The host hotel for the 28th North Texas Irish Festival is again the Radisson Central Dallas, located at  6060 North Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206. Phone: (214) 750-6060. The hotel is conveniently located just north of Mockingbird Lane on the east side of US 75. It is within easy walking distance of the fine restaurants, pubs and shops of Mockingbird Station, the DART rail station and just a short drive from Fair Park.

A complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and Fair Park. Complimentary transportation is also available to Love Field Airport, downtown Dallas, Greenville Avenue and many other destinations in the North Dallas area.

The 293 guestrooms and suites at the Radisson Hotel Central Dallas are packed with conveniences to enhance guests' stays. A few highlights include direct-dial phones with voicemail, data port access, and coffee makers. Enjoy unlimited use of an excellent exercise facility or relax by the indoor/outdoor pool on those hot NTIF days!

A large indoor splash pool connects to the outdoor pool, and the hotel's mirrored fitness center has two treadmills, one stair machine, and one stationary bike. Hotel guests receive discounted access to the Premier Club, a 62,000-square-foot sports and fitness complex 1 mile away. Dining

Vanessa's Restaurant is the main restaurant at the Radisson Hotel and offers up classic American cuisine in a casual setting, and the Lobby Bar, with TV and High-Speed Internet Access, is a popular spot to unwind and enjoy a Guinness or a Smithwicks. The bar will be especially busy most evenings with gatherings and impromptu sessions.

NTIF Shuttle

A complimentary shuttle will run between the hotel and Fair Park all day. The morning and evening schedule will be about every 30 minutes and about an hour during the day.

You may also take DART from Mockingbird Station just a short walk from the hotel to the recently opened Fair Park Station. The Fair Park Station is no more than a dozen steps from the main gate to the festival.

Hospitality Suite

After the festival closes the party continues in the hotel lobby bar or one of the two spacious Radisson meeting rooms that have been specially reserved for us, or any place that you can find to gather and session with friends old and new.

It is an NTIF tradition for guests to meet with friends, exchange songs and tunes and enjoy a variety of session music till the wee hours. The Park Central and Fair Park rooms have been reserved for sessions.

As a courtesy to other guests, please limit the sessions to the designated public areas. Loud music in the guest rooms is highly likely to upset your neighbors and prompt a visit from the hotel security staff.

Reservations

The Radisson management has informed us that the reservation line is now open and that reservations may be made for all rooms. Room rate is the same $87 per night and the promotional code is NTIF (obvious really!). Make your reservation now to ensure that you don't miss any of the festival action.
